Mobile Therapy holds privacy in the highest regard. Our system conforms to all HIPAA digital and physical security protocols, which are comparable to the security standards used for high-level banking transactions. Our database and access to the web application are SSL secured and encrypted to meet AES standards. All data are stored at a maximum security SSAE 16 Type II (formerly SAS 70) certified facility that deals specifically with HIPAA protected information. We take many additional precautions to protect privacy including requiring: strong passwords, automatic logouts, automatic logging of access, data backups, powerful firewalls, and limiting access to only those individuals who absolutely need it to do their jobs.

Clinicians:

We understand the importance of privacy. Every aspect of the Mobile Therapy system meets current HIPAA standards. This includes our server/hosting infrastructure, data warehousing practices, and transmissions between your clients and our system. The data is always encrypted. Even a breach of our system would result in access to disassociated data – or anonymous data. With SelfEcho, you and your clients are protected.

Clients:

The relationship between you and your therapist is one of the most intimate in your life. We appreciate the significance of the exchanges. We also believe the more transparent and complete you are in what you share, the more information and knowledge your Clinician will have to provide you with effective treatment. Our technology standards meet or exceed HIPAA compliance. Moreover, none of the SelfEcho staff or team ever has access to your data. When we provide tech support to your Clinician, we do so without ever seeing any aspect of your reporting or check-ins. We hope this level of security provides you comfort and trust.
