Client Journaling
Client Journaling
A body of literature by James Pennebaker and his colleagues spanning 25+years has shown broadly that journaling “expressive writing”, which means writing about deeply personal issues, promotes physical health, subjective well-being, mental health, and adaptive behaviors. Mobile Therapy’s SelfEcho app given clients a convenient tool with which to journal. Unlike pen and paper the phone is always with the client, can remind them to make an entry and is completely secure. The entry can be entered via talk-to-text for quick entry and is always legible. The information is also immediately sent to the clinician immediately. Take the hassle out of journaling for both clinician and client and move to Mobile Therapy.
